When do you pay for conveyancing fees?
Law practices and conveyancers are different depending on where you go, and when and how their fees are payable. For example, some practices require a deposit or the entirety of their fees up-front, or at least enough to pay for disbursements such as searches.
We do not specifically ask for any payment up-front, as we understand the complexity of each matter and the burden of costs simply to get to the conveyancing stage.
Our fees are generally payable at settlement, and we will draw these out of the settlement funds. We will also detail our costs in your settlement statement.
