If you’re selling residential property in QLD, you must give a buyer a completed Form 2 Seller Disclosure Statement and associated documents before signing the contract of sale. This includes up-to-date certificates, searches and notices required by law.

Once we're formally engaged, it may take up to 14 days for council searches to be returned and a compliant Seller Disclosure Statement to be ready.

Every council and property has different timeframes, but rest assured once all searches are returned, our lawyers work as quickly as possible to avoid any delays.

*Body Corporate Statements & CMS may take additional time to be returned.

If the Seller Disclosure Statement (Form 2) is incomplete or incorrect, the buyer may have the right to terminate the contract all the way up until settlement.
