The Selling Journey
Find an Agent

It's important to find an agent with a good commission rate and who understands your needs.
Your agent will help you work out a price based on the property market, and condition of your property.
Once you have a price, your agent will help organise the photography and get your property listed on the market.

It's important to choose a reputable brand, so that you know you're protected in the long run
Once we're engaged, we'll send your some initial documents, which you will need to complete and return
Review Offers

At this stage, you should receive an offer (or several!)
You need to be clear and realistic about what the price and your needs
It's important to make sure that you're satisfied with the terms and conditions before accepting the best offer
Contract

If you're ready to sign your contract, don't forget to send it through so we can act quickly
If you need a contract review, let us know so that we can make sure it protects you legally
If you need us to draft your contract (particularly if you're selling privately), get in touch for more details
Exchange Contracts

Once your offer is accepted by the Buyer, you will both sign where required.
Facilitate Inspections

The Buyer will most likely arrange a Building and Pest inspection to ensure your property is in good condition
At this time, it's important that you facilitate inspections for a speedy conveyance

This is the stage where you and the Buyer fulfil all of the conditions under the contract. Some of our tasks will include:
Advising you of important dates
Handling all legal paperwork
Liaising with your financier (if applicable) and the buyer
Preparing for settlement

This is where the title is transferred to the Buyer, and they become the new owner.
Make sure you give the keys to your agent for the buyer to collect when ready

If there's an agent, it can be sent directly to them
If a deposit is payable, make sure you pay this directly to the deposit holder

Insure Your Dream Home

Once your contract is exchanged, it is so important to insure the property. Most standard REIQ contracts put the property at the Buyer's risk the moment that the contract is signed.

In time, Titles Queensland will register your name and details as the legal owner of the new property.
