How long does it take to exchange a contract of sale?
This will depend on the complexity of the Contract, and whether the terms are agreeable to both parties. Generally, if all parties agree, in most instances, exchange of contracts will usually take place anywhere between one to two weeks prior to completion date.
It is, however, possible to exchange contracts and on the same day, but completion is generally a longer period. It is always our recommendation to choose our business to prepare your contract. Generally, preparation of the contract will take a few business days, unless you elect to engage us for a priority service.
